🫐 Wasteland Berry Blend
Frozen Berry Smoothie • No Added Sugar
Scavenged fruit doesn't last — but frozen, it waits for you. This is the whole freezer stash doing its job: mixed fruit, raspberries, blackberries, blended thick and cold. No added sugar, just fruit. Five minutes from craving to glass.
⚗ Required Supplies:
- 1 cup frozen mixed fruit (pineapple, strawberries, peaches)
- ½ cup frozen raspberries
- ½ cup frozen blackberries
- 1 cup cold water or milk
- 1 tsp honey (optional — skip it if you're watching sugar)
🔧 Preparation Protocol:
STEP 1: Add the water or milk to the blender first — liquid on the bottom keeps the blades moving.
STEP 2: Add the frozen mixed fruit, raspberries, and blackberries. If using honey, add it now.
STEP 3: Blend on high for 45–60 seconds until completely smooth. If it's too thick to blend, add water a splash at a time.
STEP 4: Pour into a glass and drink it fresh — smoothies separate if they sit. Makes about 2 servings; keep your glass to about 1 cup if you're watching blood sugar.
⚠ SURVIVAL NOTE: Berries are among the lowest-sugar fruits, and the fiber slows everything down — but a big glass is still a lot of fruit at once. One cup is the sweet spot. The frozen fruit needs no thawing; it IS the ice.
